Our Mission
Afghanistan has suffered the most from climate change in recent years. Given that our water resources are exposed to the dangers of this phenomenon and along with it the issue of environmental pollution and watershed management according to structural and non-structural methods needs research and study as well as capacity building of government agencies active in this sector, the mission of the Water and Geotechnical Research Association (WAGRA) is to conduct scientific research and train specialists in the field of water resources and geotechnics by creating an atmosphere of cooperation between experts active in the field of water resources and geotechnics, academic institutions in the country and Communicating with international scientific institutions.
